While incorporating the good old culture and climate of Okinawa, the design is closely aligned with the family’s “unique way of living,” valuing comfort and authenticity. The roof is made of traditional red tiles held in place with plaster, and the inside smells of wood. The interior has good airflow, allowing one to feel the craftsmanship. The structure reveals the wooden framing, making the entire house one large room. Due to the difficulty of procuring timber in Okinawa Prefecture, we provided structural and flooring materials.
